IAF Pilot asks Indian Army to follow Pakistan Army in its professionalism

*RAWALPINDI: Wing Commander of Indian Air Force, Abhinandan, captured by Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has urged Indian Army to follow Pakistan Army in its professionalism.*

*He thanked the Pakistan Army and armed forces personnel for their hospitality and treating him with respect.*

In a video footage, Abhinandan can be seen sharing his views and thanking the Pakistan armed forces for saving his life from the mob at crash site.

The PAF had shot down two Indian jets after they intruded into Pakistan’s airspace – Abhinandan, the Wing Commander of Indian Air Force, was detained while another was moved to hospital for treatment.

The IAF commander was also holding a cup of tea while sharing his observation, in detention. The arrested pilot, in the first video, introduced himself and said, “My name is Wing Commander Abhinandan. My service number is 27981 and I am a flying pilot. My religion is Hindu.”

Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor apprising the media about the action said, PAF struck down two of Indian jets for violating our air spaces.

The DG ISPR relayed that, we have caught two Indian pilots; one of them is shifted to Combined Military Hospital (CMH) owing to his injured condition, while the other is in custody.

“Pakistan is a responsible state and behaving in polite way with the arrested Indian pilots,” he said.
