Iraqi Army gains major success against ISIS

In Iraq, government forces have retaken most of Tal Afar from Islamic State rebels.

In a statement, Iraqi military said in Baghdad that fighting is on-going in al-'Ayadiya, a small area just outside the city. Iraqi forces are waiting to retake the city's surrounding areas to declare a complete victory.

Tal Afar is the last bastion of Islamic State group after the fall of Mosul in July.

Meanwhile, five people were killed and six injured in two separate car bomb blasts in southern of Baghdad      

No group has claimed responsibility for the attacks so far.
