Heavy downpour may trigger flash flooding and landslides in the vulnerable areas of Punjab, Balochistan, KP, GB and Kashmir, it said.
The Met office forecast rain-thundershowers with isolated heavyfalls at a number of places in Punjab, Islamabad, KP, Sindh and Kashmir during next 48 hours, while at scattered places in FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan and Balochistan. Heavy downpour may trigger flash flooding and landslides in the vulnerable areas of Punjab, Balochistan, KP, GB and Kashmir.
As far as past weather was concerned, rain-thunderstorm occurred at scattered places in Punjab, Islamabad, Malakand, Hazara, Karachi divisions and Kashmir while at isolated places of Kohat, Hyderabad, Mirpur Khas divisions and Gilgit-Baltistan.
