SUKKUR: (APP) Leader of Opposition in the National Assembly Syed Khurshid Shah on Saturday alleged that MQM chief Altaf Hussain was an Indian supporter and facilitator.
The situation regarding Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) would be clear within 10 days as to whether party members had disowned Altaf Hussain, he added.
Talking to media persons after inspecting development projects here, he said it was a fact that Farooq Sattar was running MQM Pakistan.
He alleged that Altaf Hussain was being funded and assisted by those, who were following the agenda of Indian lobby.
He said Sukkur's sewerage issue could be resolved by dividing it into four parts, which would cost Rs 3 to 4 billion.
He said many development plans were underway in Sukkur like SIUT, women university, cancer hospital, arts college and Sardar Ghulam Muhammad Khan Mahar Medical College. Installation of a water purification plant was also on the card, he added.
Khurshid Shah also inspected cleanliness in the area and said no negligence in that regard would be tolerated.
