*BEIJING – Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that the resolution of theKashmir dispute lies in dialogues.*
Addressing Pakistan and China Investment Forum in Beijing on Sunday, hesaid that India would get nothing from anti-Pakistan slogans. “Pakistanexpects good relations with the new Indian government,” he said.
The prime minister said that peace in Afghanistan is also important forPakistan. “Peace has returned to Pakistan due to sacrifices of the securityforces,” he said. “Peace in Afghanistan will help increase connectivitybetween Pakistan and Central Asia and wider region.”
He said: “We are now engaged in helping the peace process in Afghanistan.There is a prospect of peace in Afghanistan after many years and Pakistanis playing its part in bringing Taliban and Afghan governmentrepresentatives to sit together to resolve this decades old conflict.”
Prime Minister Imran Khan emphasized that China-Pakistan Economic Corridor(CPEC) has transformed into a strategic partnership between Pakistan andChina and encompasses more areas of cooperation. “CPEC that was considereda network of roads and a few power projects has now blossomed into variousareas of cooperation today. A new area of that cooperation is agriculturethat is backbone of our country.”
