Pakistan China ink 11 agreement and much more during PM Khan visit to China

*ISLAMABAD: Advisor to Prime Minister on Commerce, Textile, and IndustryAbdul Razak Dawood on Sunday said 11 agreements had been signed with Chinain the sectors of Information Technology, agriculture, railways andchemicals.*

He said an agreement was also made on film and TV between Pakistan andChina.

“Many investors are ready to come to Pakistan,” Abdul Razak Dawood saidwhile talking to media after the Free Trade Agreement with China. He saidan agreement had been signed on Pak-China Free Trade Agreement (FTA).

The PM’s advisor said around 400 investors had come to attend the Belt andRoad Forum. “I was surprised to see so many investors in the forum.”

He said many of the investors were ready to come to Pakistan.

Dawood said under the agreement Pakistan had achieved those benefits whichwere given to Asian countries. The agreement would improve exports andinvestment in the country, he added.

On April 28, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information andBroadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan had said that Free Trade Agreement (FTA)with China would help promote the local industry.

Talking about Prime Minister Imran Khan’s visit to China during a stopoverin Gujrat, Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan had said, “For the first time a leader istalking for the interest of his country and people at international level,unlike previous rulers who visited abroad for their personal and businessinterests.”
