ISLAMABAD – The National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Privatization wasinformed today (Wednesday) that the process of PIA’s Privatization wasinitiated under the Pakistan International Airlines Corporation(Conversion) Act, 2016 which was unanimously passed by the Assembly, RadioPakistan has reported.

This was informed at a meeting of the Committee in Islamabad today that wasbriefed about Privatization of Pakistan International Airlines.

The meeting was told that all the steps regarding sale and purchase of theassets of PIA will be treated strictly in accordance with the parametersprescribed under the Act.
