ISLAMABAD – An elite group of climbers saved a French mountaineer in adaring night-time rescue on Nanga Parbat with the support of Pakistan Armybut called off the search for a second missing Polish climber.

Talking to our Gilgit correspondent on Sunday, Commissioner BaltistanDivisional Hamza Salik said that two Pak Army helicopters and an elitegroup of climbers including four polish mountaineers took part in therescue operation.

He said the lady mountaineer will soon be shifted to Islamabad.

The search operation has been called off for the second missing Polishclimber due to bad weather.
