Inside details of Imran Khan from Adiala Jail Rawalpindi

Imran Khan's relocation from Attock district prison to Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi came as a result of a directive issued by the Islamabad High Court (IHC). This significant move was confirmed by Adiala Jail authorities, who reported the transfer occurring under tight police security.

A video shared by the PTI on social media depicted party supporters showering rose petals on the police convoy transporting Imran near the Islamabad Toll Plaza. Official sources disclosed that Imran Khan had been assigned a high-security B-Class barrack in Adiala Jail, a facility previously occupied by former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. Moreover, it was clarified that Imran would receive court-directed facilities, including an attached bathroom in his prison quarters and 24/7 access to a prison service facility.

Curiously, just one day prior to the transfer, Imran Khan's lawyer had stated that the PTI chairman had adapted to life in Attock prison. Barrister Umair Niazi, speaking to journalists, made a U-turn from the PTI's previous stance in the Islamabad High Court, explaining that Imran had acclimated himself to the conditions in Attock jail, stating, "After all jail is jail.

I am fine in Attock jail." However, on Monday, Khan's legal team had requested the IHC to provide their client with an exercise machine during his incarceration.

The Islamabad High Court further solidified the decision by issuing a written order regarding Imran Khan's transfer to Adiala Jail from District Jail Attock. Chief Justice Aamer Farooq authored the order, which officially terminated the notification for Imran Khan's placement in Attock Jail.

The court emphasized that all facilities prescribed by the rules must be provided to the accused during his time in jail. This legal development marked a significant chapter in Imran Khan's ongoing legal proceedings, capturing the attention of the public and political observers alike.
