Fans were present at the Indian airport to catch a glimpse of cricket stars. During this time, Indian officials snatched the Pakistani flag from a Pakistani fan at the airport and prevented Pakistani fans from chanting "Pakistan Zindabad."
The Pakistani fan, Chacha Bashir, mentioned that he had come to welcome the Pakistani team, but the security personnel took the flag, saying, "My clothes are of Pakistani colors," and even stopped him from chanting slogans in support of Pakistan.
