Describing Modi-led Indian government as vengeful and jealous, Bengal Chief Minister Mamta Banerjee said that the regime has compromised India’s prestige by denying her permission to travel to a global peace conference in Rome.
Mamta lashed out at the India’s National Human Rights Commission for keep mum over the recent shooting down of a poor Muslim peasant by police in Assam and then desecration of his dead body by a government photographer accompanying the police.
