Pakistan cricket team's vice-captain Shadab Khan said that it is true we haven't played well, and the criticism we're facing is justified. I'm not delivering a good performance.
During a press conference, Shadab Khan emphasized that we should focus on our performance rather than others' criticism. It's better to avoid excessive social media. He mentioned that there is unity in our team, and Pakistan will come out of this rough phase. Bad times come, and better days will start tomorrow.
He stressed that fielding is crucial, and pressure builds when easy catches are dropped and straightforward boundaries aren't stopped. The vice-captain stated that we need to perform well in batting, bowling, and fielding. Injuries and illnesses can't be blamed for our losses.
Shadab Khan expressed that Pakistan needs to improve in all three areas - batting, bowling, and fielding. When the bowling department performs well, the team will progress. Our bowling line-up hasn't shown good performance, and we hope for better bowling in the upcoming matches.
It's clear that the Pakistan cricket team will play their sixth match in the World Cup against South Africa on Friday. So far, they have won 2 out of 5 matches, with losses against India, Australia, and Afghanistan.
