Disgruntled PTM activist Gulalai Ismail faces a setback

PESHAWAR - Professor Muhammad Ismail, the father of disgruntled PTM activist Gulalai Islami, on Friday was sent to jail link on 14-day judicial remand for his alleged role in hate speech and spreading fake information against the government link institutions of Pakistan link on social media link.
According to the reports, Federal link Investigation Agency booked Professor Muhammad Ismail under Sections 10 and 11 of Peca 2016 link read with Section 109 of the Pakistan link Penal Code at FIA link Cyber Crime link Circle link in Peshawar link for spreading fake information about state institutions on Facebook link and Twitter link.
A day after his arrest in Peshawar link, her daughter Gulalai Islamil said that her father was picked up from link outside the Peshawar High Court link (PHC) by "men wearing Malitia dress".
On Friday, the FIA link produced Professor Islamil before a judicial magistrate to secure his physical remand but the court link turned down the request of the FIA link and sent the professor to jail link on 14-day judicial remand.
