Sri Lankan President suspends parliament amid deepening crisis

Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena has suspended parliament which has further deepened political turmoil in the country.
Earlier, he sacked prime minister who had called for an emergency meeting of the legislature.
Parliamentary officials said the president has suspended meetings until 16th of next month.
