Diamer Bhasha Dam fund: British Pakistanis make big donation in presence of CJP

LONDON - Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Mian Saqib Nisar has said holding of across the board accountability is imperative for eliminating corruption.
He was speaking at a press conference after attending a Fund raising dinner for Diamer-Basha and Mohmand dams in London.
The Chief Justice said a strong judiciary is vital to ensure rule of law and provision of speedy and equitable justice to the people.
Replying to question, he said a web-site has been developed for transparent utilization of the dam fund to keep the general public informed about the spending on the dams.
He said Kalabagh Dam will be constructed after evolving consensus among the four provinces.
On this occasion, the British-Pakistanis donated one million pounds in the Diamer Basha and Mohmand Dams Fund.
