PM Nawaz Sharif leaves for Malta to attend CHOGM

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has departed to Malta to attend the 3 day summit of Commonwealth Heads of Government Meetings (CHOGM). The commonwealth summit is held after every two years. This year the summit entitled is “The importance of Global values” Issues related to violent, extremism, radicalism, sustainable development goals and migration will be discussed in the summit. The member countries of Commonwealth will also elect its General Secretary for the next four years. Besides attending the summit, PM Nawaz Sharif will also meet several world leaders at the occasion and will discuss bilateral and global issues in the meetings. The Prime Minister will also attend two banquets hosted by the British Queen and by Prime Minister of Malta Joseph Muscat. After completing Malta visit, PM will visit France to participate UN climate summit.
