JRL condemns use of force on worshipers at Jamia Masjid

Srinagar: In occupied Kashmir, the Joint Resistance Leadership has strongly condemned the use of indiscriminate force including pellets on worshipers at historic Jamia Masjid, Srinagar.
The leaders in a joint statement in Srinagar said that areas around the mosque turned tense because of heavy deployment of forces personnel who fired teargas and pellets causing injuries to scores.
Meanwhile, JRL leaders, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik participated in the silent sit-in staged by the Shahre Khaas traders against firing of pellets and teargas shells inside the Masjid and condemned the forces action.
