ISLAMABAD, (APP): Pakistan’s Foreign Reserves touch all time high
The total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at US$21,611.7 million on May 20, 2016.
Giving break-up of the foreign reserves position a statement issued here Thursday said that foreign reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan stood at US$ 16,810.4 million while net foreign reserves held by commercial banks were US$ 4,801.3 million on May 20.
The SBP statement said that during the week ending May 20, 2016, SBP's Liquid FX Reserves increased by US$292 million to US$16,810 million, compared to US$16,518 million in the previous week.
