Pakistan Army Chief fulfils unique desire of two female cancer patients

RAWALPINDI – Pakistan Army Chief fulfils unique desire of two female cancer patients.

Two teenagers, who have been diagnosed with cancer, had their lifelong wish fulfilled by becoming soldiers of Pakistan Army for a day by Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the girls 13-year-old Javeria Alam and 15-year-old Ruba Rafique expressed their wish to become soldiers of Pak Army.

The Lahore corps commander, on behalf of the army chief, made them honoury soldiers for a day.

Later, Jeveria and Ruba laid a floral wreath at the Yadgar-e-Shuhada and offered prayers at the monument.

Earlier on Tuesday, COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa reiterated that Pakistan was focused and determined to achieve peace and stability.
