Saudi Arabia rejected US President Donald Trump's recognition of Syria's Golan Heights as Israeli territory condemning it as a violation of international law.
A statement by official spa news agency said the Golan remains occupied Syrian Arab land and its recognition as Israeli territory is a violation of the un charter and international resolutions.
The statement said this will have negative effects on the Middle East peace process and security and stability in the region.
Turkey on Monday also denounced US Trump's recognition of Israeli sovereignty over the disputed Golan Heights as an "Election Gift" to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
