Christchurch Attack : Ardern asks for most powerful judicial probe

New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has ordered an Independent Judicial Inquiry into the Christchurch Mosque attacks, which resulted into murder of over 50 people.

The New Zealand Prime Minister has also asking Whether Police and intelligence services could have prevented the March 15 attack.

Ardern said a royal Commission, which is the most powerful judicial probe available under New Zealand law, was needed to find out how a single gunman was able to kill 50 people in an attack that shocked the World.

She also said that a National Remembrance Service would be held on march 29 to honour the victims.
