Peshawar metro bus service construction status update

PESHAWAR: (APP) Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak on Monday claimed the much awaited mega project of metro bus service in provincial capital would be completed in six months after its initiation.
Addressing a ceremony here, the Chief Minister said Peshawar Greater Railway plan has also been chalked-out that would connect the provincial metropolitan with Mardan, Nowshera and Charsadda districts making the journey comfortable, respectable and cost-effective.
He informed Peshawar Greater Railway project would be completed at a cost of $4 million, adding PTI has formed government in KP not only to set example for others but to serve the people as well.
Earlier, addressing a prospecting License Offer Letter distribution ceremony among cement manufacturers here at Chief Minister house, he said that 14 licenses have been awarded to out of a total 40 investors for investing in KP.
He said that offering the license letter to investors would bring 2.5 billion rupees investment in the province, adding it would create employment opportunities in the province besides addressing issue of poverty.
He assured investors to identify vacant lands across KP and the provincial government would support and facilitate them in terms of offering land and license for investment.
The CM said KP government would hold a road show on April 16 and 17 in China to attract investors for investment in KP.
He asked local investors to contact his government if they want to be part of the government's effort through their own initiative.
He said the government would welcome if the local investor would invest in KP along with foreign investors especially from China.
