Safari Park Kalar Kahar to provide world class facilities of ecofriendly tourism

LAHORE: (APP) National Safari Park Kallar Kahar would provide world class recreational facilities to the visitors.

The park would be consisted of 1000 acres of land which would promote eco-friendly tourism in the country, Additional Secretary Technical Shahid Rashid Awan told APP here on Monday.

He said that as per feasibility study the cost of the project would be Rs 4.3 billion, adding that after final approval, work on the project would be started from next financial year.

The park would be part of efforts of the government to provide maximum recreational facilities in the country, he said.

National Safari Park would have equal entertainment opportunities for children, young and old in the light of their interests.

National Safari Park would be the foremost and prominent among the parks of the country established so far, he added.

He said that a stopover would be established near Kallar Kahar Motorway where travelers and other people of different areas would enjoy the best and sustainable recreational facilities.

Different safaris would also be established in the park where local animal species like Uriyal and Chinkara Deer etc. and safaris of exotic species like African, Arabian Orex, Giraffes and Zebra safaris would also be established.
