ISLAMABAD: Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan changed his decision to resign from the National Assembly and Interior Ministry after meeting ‘few friends’.
According to the spokesperson of the Interior Ministry, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan’s decision to resign from the National Assembly and Interior Ministry was valid till last evening.
“Nisar’s decision to resign from MNAship and step down from the Interior Ministry was from yesterday,” said the spokesperson.
The spokesperson said that Nisar had stated during his presser that he had decided to take an important decision yesterday. However, Chaudhry Nisar had then stated that he had changed his mind after meeting a few friends.
The Interior Ministry Spokesperson urged media to keep in mind the context regarding Nisar’s resignation announcement.
