PTI moves LHC seeking date of Punjab Assembly elections

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has filed a petition in the Lahore High Court requesting it to order the Punjab governor to announce date for holding provincial assembly elections.
The petition was filed by PTI Secretary General Asad Umar on Friday.
The petition made the Punjab governor respondent through his principal secretary.
The petition beseeched the court to direct the governor to announce date for the Punjab Assembly elections.
