Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah hints at arrest of former PM Imran Khan

Federal Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah said that though he is not in favor of arresting Imran Khan but to test the PTI leaders' tall claims, he should be arrested for once.

Rana Sanaullah reached London to meet his party, the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Mian Nawaz Sharif on Friday.

Answering queries to the media in London, Rana Sanaullah said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (TPI) leader Fawad Chaudhry has been arrested on the case registered by the police on the application of the Election Commission of Pakistan's Secretary.

He clarified that there is no involvement of his government in the arrest of Fawad Chaudhry and it was not a result of any political revenge from his side.

To a query, he said he will leave for Pakistan tomorrow (Saturday) after taking final instructions from party leader Nawaz Sharif.

Interior Minister Sanaullah said Maryam Nawaz Sharif will start her party's rallies on February 01 in Punjab and later will also run the campaign in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
