Federal government unveils plan for the development of coastal areas of Pakistan
ISLAMABAD - The Senate was informed today that the federal government is ready to provide every possible assistance for the development of coastal areas of the country.
Responding to a motion moved by Mir Kabeer Ahmed, Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Azam Khan Swati said that a master plan for the development of coastal areas is in pipeline.
He said that government is in contact with the provincial governments in this regard and Balochistan government has informed that legislation is in process.
Earlier, the House passed two bills, “The Maternity and Paternity Leave Bill, 2019 and The Islamabad Compulsory Vaccination and Protection of Health Workers Bill, 2019.
