CPEC to usher in era of prosperity in entire region: Asif

ISLAMABADForeign Minister Khawaja Asif says Pak-China friendship is spanned over several decades based on common agenda of socio-economic development.
He was addressing a picture exhibition in connection with New Year of China at foreign office in Islamabad on Monday.
Khawaja Asif said China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project will usher in an era of development and prosperity in the entire region.
Felicitating China on the New Year, the Foreign Minister said such type of exhibitions will further the cultural relations between the two countries.
Expressing his views, Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Yao Jing expressed his desire to further strengthen bilateral relations.
He said mutual cooperation will prove to be successful for both the countries.APP/AFP
