*An eight-member full medical board has been formed to investigate Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif’s medical complaints.*
The board comprises doctors from PIMS in Islamabad and has specialists in surgery, oncology (cancer) and gastroenterology (stomach issues).
Shehbaz has complained of back pain and the first checkup was to investigate that.
During the board’s first meeting, the members went through his previous medical reports. Four members of the board gave him a checkup at the Minister’s Enclave and have advised further tests.
What treatment and medicine to give will be decided once the reports from the latest tests come back.
