NAB DG appeals masses to join hands for elimination of corruption

KARACHI: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Director General Karachi Brig (Retd.) Farooq Nasir Awan appealed to the masses to join hands with NAB in elimination of menace of corruption.
In a statement issued here, the NAB director general said that in pursuance of the directives of NAB Chairman Justice (Retd.) Javed Iqbal, the NAB Karachi will hold an open court (Khuli Kachehri) on Thursday to collect applications from citizens regarding corruption and embezzlement in government and other sectors.
The open court will be held between 2pm and 4pm at the NAB Karachi office. The citizens can also submit their complaints along with the proofs by sending mail on the email address: sindh@nab.gov.pk or on telephone no. 021-111-622622 or via fax no. 021-99207949.
Brig. (Retd.) Farooq Nasir Awan said that the persons involved in causing losses to the national exchequer were the enemies of the country and its citizens. Bringing such persons to the book was the need of the hour.
