Shehryar Afridi lauds bold stance of Turkish President on Kashmir August 27, 2020

ISLAMABAD- Chairman Parliamentary Committee on Kashmir Shehryar Afridi has lauded the unflinching and continued support by the people and the government of Turkey for the cause of oppressed people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJ&K).
Talking to Turkish Ambassador to Pakistan Mustafa Yurdakul in Islamabad on Thursday, he said freedom is around the corner and soon Kashmiris will exercise their right to self-determination as per the United Nations resolutions.
Shehryar Afridi appreciated the bold stance adopted by the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for Kashmir issue that has helped further highlight the issue at the international fora.
The Chairman said the Hindutva regime in India is destabilizing regional peace and any misadventure on Kashmir may jeopardize regional peace.
On the occasion, Ambassador Mustafa Yurdakul assured Turkey's role in becoming a voice of unheard and oppressed in IIOJ&K.
