Pakistan categorically rejects Indian charge sheet to implicate Pakistan in Pulwama attack August 27, 2020
ISLAMABAD- Pakistan has categorically rejected the so-called "charge sheet" by India's National Investigation Agency attempting to mischievously implicate Pakistan in last year's Pulwama attack in the Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir as fabricated and designed to advance BJP's anti-Pakistan rhetoric and its narrow domestic political interests.
In a statement, the Foreign Office Spokesperson Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri said Pakistan has rejected India's baseless allegations and extend cooperation, but India failed to provide any credible evidence and has been using the attack for its malicious propaganda against Pakistan.
The Spokesperson said the timing of the Pulwama attack just before the Lok Sabha elections in India, and the fact that explosives used in the attack were collected from inside the Kashmir, and that the key accused in the attack were killed by Indian forces, raise several questions.
He said Pakistan has been forewarning the international community about India's use of "false flag" operation and possible ill-conceived misadventure. With the approaching state elections in India, the RSS-BJP ploy of raising the Pakistan bogey again for making electoral gains is palpable.
