ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Youth Affairs Usman Dar criticized the leadership of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N), saying that three times prime minister Nawaz Sharif had failed to establish any state of the art hospital in Pakistan where he could be treated.
Talking to a private news channel, he said the provision of health facilities to the people had not been his priority during his tenure.
He said Nawaz Sharif had a mega opportunity to change the fate of common man during his premiership tenure but he remained failed.
Nawaz Sharif’s application for his treatment in abroad showed his dishonesty with the country as he left all the national institutions in worst condition, he added.
Nawaz’s family did not trust the capability of the medical staff of Pakistani hospitals, he said and asked the PML-N leadership to accept their failure openly in front of public that they had no link with people’s issues.
“PML-N did not focus on developmental work including health sector during their tenure and had wasted the national kitty on orange line and metro type projects just to fill their own pockets”, he pointed.
“The courts were independent in their decisions, if it allow him to go abroad for treatment then the government will not oppose the decision”, he remarked.
He further said the convicted person could not leave the country as it was against the law.
It is on record that whenever a convicted person left the country he did not come back.
