ISLAMABAD – Former Finance Minister Ishaq Dar gets the worst blow from theNational Accountability Bureau.
The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Thursday has filed a petitionin Islamabad High Court (IHC) to sell the assets of former finance ministerIshaq Dar in Pakistan.
The petition stated that the Ishaq Dar is wanted by court and has beendeclared as an absconder by both NAB and court.
Ishaq Dar is in London since October and has been seeking treatment of anundefined heart complication at a Harley Street hospital and has beendeclared an absconder in the corruption case against him. Later, redwarrants were also issued for his arrest.
Moreover, the petition has demanded permission of IHC to sell all theassets of Ishaq Dar in Pakistan.
The former finance minister is accused of possessing assetsdisproportionate to his declared source of income.
