Pakistan Muslim League-N supremo Mian Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday chaired aparty meeting.
PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif took the party leadership into confidenceregarding holding a dinner for the opposition parties.
On the occasion, the party supremo advised that there should be noimpression of division within the party ranks on the national issues. Hesaid a strong message should be given to the masses in this regard. Hedirected that there should be a singular and unison narrative of the PML-Nshould be conveyed to the masses.
The meeting was attended by former finance minister Ishaq Dar, Abid SherAli, and others.
Shehbaz Sharif had held a dinner on Monday for the opposition parties—amove taken as an attempt to reunite the opposition parties. The dinner wasattended by several opposition leaders.

PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz did not attend the dinner giving way tospeculations regarding division in party ranks. Maryam, however, clarifiedlater on that she did not attend the dinner as she was not aparliamentarian. He asked to stop making issues out of everything.
She has said that he (Shehbaz Sharif) hosted the dinner as the leader ofthe opposition as they had to devise a strategy for the budget session.
