In a swift and decisive action, the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) in Peshawar successfully apprehended four suspected Afghan facilitators linked to the banned extremist group, Daesh.
This operation took place in the Budh Bir area of the city, bringing a sense of relief and enhanced security to the local community.
Official sources have revealed that these detained individuals were actively involved in aiding and abetting Daesh's nefarious activities, primarily focused on target killings and acts of sabotage that posed a significant threat to the peace and stability of the region.
While the identities of the arrested individuals remain undisclosed, CTD officials have confirmed their capture.
Notably, these four alleged facilitators were not unfamiliar to the authorities, as they had been evading the law while facing charges in ten separate cases.
