Pakistan and GCC Ministerial level meeting held

ISLAMABAD - Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has expressed hope that regional and international organizations would play their role towards addressing grave threat to peace and security in South Asia as a result of illegal and unilateral actions by India in Occupied Kashmir.
He was addressing Gulf Cooperation Council -Pakistan Ministerial-level meeting on the sidelines of the 74th session of UN General Assembly in New York.
The Foreign Minister highlighted latest human rights and humanitarian situation prevailing in Occupied Kashmir.
He said Indian forces continued to operate with impunity in the occupied territory with the civilians bearing the brunt of the debilitating impact of the lockdown.
The Joint Ministerial meeting also reviewed entire gamut of bilateral relations between GCC and Pakistan. The meeting agreed to explore further avenues for enhancing bilateral trade and economic ties between two sides as well as to strengthen institutional linkages.
The meeting was attended by Foreign Ministers of Oman and Kuwait along with Permanent Representatives of other GCC countries.
