Chinese president proposes stronger global security governance

BEIJING, (APP/Xinhua): China hopes to work closely with other countries and international organizations for global security governance, and jointly build a community of universal security for humankind, said Chinese President Xi Jinping on Tuesday.

Xi made the remarks while addressing the opening ceremony of the 86^th Interpol General Assembly held in Beijing.

Participants from 158 countries and regions gathered in Beijing for the conference.
