Punjab Assembly approved the provincial budget for current fiscal year 2018-19 during its session in Lahore.
The House approved a total of forty-three Demands for Grants for different sectors, without any cut motion tabled in absence of Opposition members.
Speaking at the House after the passage of the budget, the Chief Minister Sardar Uman Buzdar congratulated the House on approval of the budget.
He said that a new era of progress will usher in as huge resources have been allocated for the Annual Development Program.
Later, the House was prorogued.
