ISLAMABAD: Federal and provincial government of Punjab have decided to put Imran Khan under house arrest ahead of the November 2 Islamabad lock down.
The government has come up with a plan to tackle Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) November 2 sit-in that aims to lockdown the federal capital.

According to a local TV channel, the government has issued orders to place the central leaders of PTI and Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) under house arrest – two days before the sit-in. It has also been decided to detain PTI’s active party workers ahead of sit-in.
Apart from that, the Islamabad’s administration is considering shutting Lahore-Islamabad motorway to stop protesters from reaching the city.
No body would be allowed to shut down the capital Islamabad, government sources revealed.
