CPEC Projects in Gilgit Baltistan

ISLAMABAD: Minister for planning Ahsan Iqbal briefed the parliamentary committee on CPEC regarding the CPEC projects relating to the Gilgit Baltistan.

He said that Gilgit-Baltistan was being fully included in  CPEC through Eco-friendly economic projects in different areas.

Following are the major CPEC projects in GB.

1. Regional grid for G-B was being established,
2. Plan for tourism on Attabad lake,
3. Khunjerab-Islamabad fibre optic

   cable,

4. Initiative for mining of minerals,

5.Hydel projects,

6. Upgradation of KKH highway,
7. Engineering University

8.Medical College.
