Lahore - Sialkot Motorway completion date revealed

ISLAMABAD - About 70 per cent work of under-construction 89-kilometre Lahore-Sialkot Motorway link has been completed and it is expected that the project would be completed next year.

An official of National Highway Authority link ( NHA link) informed APP on Monday that Lahore-Sialkot Motorway link) was being constructed at the cost link of Rs43.84 billion link. Construction of the four-lane Lahore-Sialkot Motorway link has been divided in four sections on Build Operate and Transfer (BOT) basis had started in February link 2017 link.

The official said the motorway link has seven interchanges, eight flyovers, 40 bridges and 70 underpasses. It would be linked with Lahore-Islamabad Motorway link (M-2) and Grand Trunk Road link (N-5) through Lahore link link road link near Kala Shah Kaku.

He said that the motorway link would help reduce travel link distance between Sialkot link and Lahore link and would open new vistas of socio-economic and human development in Sialkot link region.

The motorway link east bound exits include Lahore link, Sialkot link Bypass, Kala Khatai, Narowal link, Wahndo, Mundeke, Pasrur link and Sialkot link while its west bound exits include Kala Shah Kaku (M-2 inter-change), Muridke link, Eimanabad, Gujranwala link City, Daska link, and Wazirabad link.
