ISLAMABAD - United Motors is all set to introduce an automatic version of its 800CC Bravo hatchback in the first half of next year.
The company, after asking for feedback from its customers, worked on the car and tweaked a few things before relaunching it of sorts. In the improved version, the company is offering 3 new colors and has worked on the engine, the exterior – with changes to the door handles – as well the interior.
Although in lieu of these changes, the company hiked the price tag by Rs. 60,000 and the manual variant is now priced at PKR9.85 lakh.
At present, United Bravo is the only locally assembled 800CC hatchback in the country but it will soon face stiff competition from the soon to be launched Prince Pearl. The Pearl, just like the Bravo, will have both manual and automatic variants and is expected to hit the markets in January 2020.
On paper, the move to introduce an automatic variant makes sense and will help Bravo compete but for now, the Bravo is limited to a few cities and is yet to expand nationwide.
