ASF foil heroin smuggling bid at Benazir Bhutto Airport Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: (APP) Airport Security Force (ASF) on Friday foiled a bid to smuggle two kilogram heroin worth million of rupees abroad, the sources said.
ASF stopped the passenger at Benazir Bhutto International (BBI) Airport Islamabad over being suspicious.
During search, security forces recovered two kilogram heroin from the man identified as Ali Gohar from Mardan.
The suspect had concealed the drugs in a confectionery box and was trying to smuggle it to Doha by private airline flight QR-633.
Later, he was handed over to Anti-Narcotics Force.
