*LONDON - Former England cricketer Kevin Pietersen has responded over the Pakistan performance in the England Test.*
*He has played under Pakistan skipper Sarfraz Ahmed in the Pakistan Super League (PSL), is not surprised at all by the guest team’s performance at Lord’s.*
Lauding the Quetta Gladiators captain, he said, “I played under Safraz for 3 seasons of PSL & he certainly has a winning instinct!”
Lavishing the Green Shirts coach with praise, he said, “Mickey is also very smart.”
Pakistan were dismissed for 363 in reply to England’s first innings 184, a lead of 179 runs, on the third day of the first Test at Lord’s on Saturday.
Four Pakistan batsmen made fifties, with Azhar Ali, Asad Shafiq and Shadab Khan joining Babar in reaching the landmark.
