Federal Budget 2017-18: Defence employees to get additional Zarb-e-Azb allowance

ISLAMABAD – Federal government has presented the budget for 2017-18 in the National Assembly of Pakistan.
The federal government on Friday announced an extra 10 % Zarb-e-Azb allowance for armed personnel in Budget 2017-18.
The government has also increased defence spending for the next financial year 2017-18 by Rs 60 billion to Rs 920 billion.
Finance Minister Ishaq Dar presented the fifth budget of the incumbent government of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) with an estimated outlay of Rs 4.8 trillion on Friday.
The minister also lauded the success of Zarb e Azb.
