PTI decides to approach judiciary and ECP over Panama issue

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaf senior members meeting was held here at today under the chairmanship of Imran Khan to discuss about the current political situation and Panama leaks issue.

As per details, recent approval to increase parliamentarians salaries have been rejected by meeting under Imran Khan saying that people have to facing a lot of problems due to poverty while government is taking Rs. 6 billion loans daily basis so in this bad economic situation country could not afford heavy rise in parliamentarian salaries.

It has been decided in the meeting to raise the issue of Panama leaks at every forum including parliament while pressure would be increased on government in this regard.

Public rallies would also be held as well as Election Commission of Pakistan and Judiciary would be approached over the issue of Panama leaks. Imran said that PTI would actively participate in TORs committee.

Addressing media after the meeting, Shah Mahmood said that it is the golden opportunity to get rid of corruption so his party would leave no stone unturned to eradicate the scourge of corruption.

He added that Baluchistan government has demanded to return Afghan migrants to their home and now he is awaiting for the answer of federal government in this regard.

PTI Spokesperson Naeem ul Haq said that PTI would file a case for the disqualification of PM Nawaz.
