Pakistan’s digital transformation crucial to meet economic challenges: President

ISLAMABAD-President Dr. Arif Alvi, while underscoring the need for digital transformation of Pakistan, has said that the step would prove to be a major milestone towards the development of national economy.
Chairing a meeting of the Committee on Emerging Technologies in Islamabad, he said the economic as well as administrative challenges could be well tackled through effective utilization of the information and communication technologies.
He said the formulation of an administrative mechanism is inevitable to help improve the government's performance.
The meeting was briefed that knowledge economy and e-commerce had great potential to improve economy of the country.
