ISLAMABAD: (APP) The Supreme Court on Tuesday issued notices to the Sindh Chief Secretary, and Secretary Services and Works in a case regarding working of officers on deputation in violation of apex court orders.
The court also sought service record of all the employees working on deputation and summoned them to appear before it to record their stance.
The three-member bench of the apex court headed by Justice Amir Hani Muslim and comprising Justice Ejaz Afzal and Justice Sardar Tariq Masood heard the case.
It may be mentioned that the apex court had directed to repatriate all employees working on deputation to their parent departments in 2013.
The court also maintained its order in the review appeal.
During the course of proceedings, petitioner Tanveer Hussain told the court that the Sindh government did not repatriate Shafqat Mughal, Zahid Ali Shah and Pervez Ali Shah to their parent departments. He said a notification was issued in this regard but it was not implemented.
The Advocate General Sindh pleaded the court to grant some time for submission of reply.
Later, hearing of the case was adjourned for an indefinite period.
