ISLAMABAD - Pakistan's all-rounder Shadab Khan makes an historic achievement for Pakistan Super League.
Pakistan all-rounder Shadab Khan has been named as the captain of Habib Bank Limited (HBL) Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Islamabad United for the fifth edition.
The 21-year-old also became the youngest captain in HBL PSL’s history after being asked to shoulder the leadership responsibility by the franchise.
“It is an honor for me to lead a side which has won two PSL Trophies and i would like to thank Ali Naqvi for this opportunity,” said Shadab.
“I hope to learn as much as I can from this opportunity and hope that I will live up to expectations they have of me.”
“I know what it takes to win the PSL, and working with Misbah bhai I am sure that we can challenge for the trophy again,” he added.
